My Last Day is comprised of unique individuals that work together fluently to learn the new songs - new and old - that people enjoy listening to. It all started in a shed in the backyard of Jarrod's mother's house over 4 years ago. Mark and Jarrod had met when Jarrod got a job at ePlus where Mark was working at the time. Jarrod brought a tape in of himself playing the intro to Fade to Black by Metallica, and Mark expressing interest let on that he also played guitar. The jamming started here. We had 2 guitars, 2 amps, and a stereo which doubled as a PA.

Time passed and a mutual friend Zack (Uncle Nasty Fingers) came around and decided, with a little encouragement from us, to buy a bass and join the band. Jarrod harped on his brother Josh about how cool it would be to play in the band together, and Josh finally broke down and bought a kit off of ebay. The $300 kit came complete with all hardware and cymbals, and still to this day is in the family. Unfortuately the kit lasted well longer than Josh's patience did with learning how to play drums. Once Josh traded in his drumset for season tickets to the Eagles football games along came Derick. We met Derick through a friend from work and he fit in nicely. The only problem with Derick was his inability to show up for practice, and a certain situation that arose between him and the bassist Zack (Uncle Nasty Fingers). This certain situation left us back at square one with Jarrod and Mark and a new 4 channel mixer. We did have the drumset and Jarrod started providing beats while Mark tried his hand at writing original music, which he turned out to be pretty good at.

Mark had a friend that had been interested in the band for some time and we decided it was time to see if he wanted to be a part. Mike, or Bake as his friends call him, was a guitarist who went out and bought a bass to fill the gaping void in the low end. Bake also fit in nicely and became a good friend to all. Derick snuck back into the picture for a while and faded again quickly. Bake put an ad in the local Penny Pincher Classifieds and we were lucky enough to stumble upon our current drummer, Jeff.

By this time it had been 3 cold winters in the shed and none of us was looking to spend another. Jeff our new drummer suggested moving the equipment to his place for practice. So one day we loaded up everything and headed to our new home. We were received with open arms from his parents and most of the time a plate full of food.

Our last addition to the band came a few months back, when Josh gave Jarrod a call and told him about a guy that sang karoake at a local bowling alley bar. Jarrod went up to check him out and to his delight Scott - or Scoot to his friends - was a great singer and willing to jam. With the addition of Scoot we are now a 5 piece band going strong for 4 months learning new material. We play open mics at Juno's, a club in Collegeville, and are getting ready to start playing actual gigs in the near future. Come and see what this long and drawn out story has fested into. 11/13/06 *Update*

Alot has happened over the past few months. Regretably we haven't played any shows due to the fact that we let go of our drummer Jeff a few months back due to some differences we couldn't get past. We took a good long break from practice and have come back refreshed and ready to make some big steps. Mark (Red) Rasy has stepped back into the picture as a second guitar and vocals, and we recently picked up a new drummer, Bill Jones, who has stepped up and learned almost our entire set list in a month. The band is back to full capacity and has a new and fun vigor about it. We are all determined to get things rolling and step back into the clubs for another round.

1/13/07 *Update*

Sad to say Mark (Red) has left the band again. It seems the enthusiasm he once had has disappeared. We are sorry to see him go, but the four remaining members are determined to move forward. Our goal remains to begin playing out again on a regular basis so we're sharpening our songs as much as we can and looking for places to play. We plan to get back into it by playing at open mic nights and then looking for regular gigs. Hopefully you'll see and hear us in the very near future. My Last Day is: Scooter-Vocals / Jarrod-Guitars and Vocals / Bake-Bass and Vocals / Bill - Drums.
